2007 – 2012
Valued $500M+ in commercial assets as one of the youngest Certified General Appraisers in Alabama history, then turned a division with three straight years of losses into a 140% net-income gain as a Director of Finance.
Phillip Hasha · Senior Operations LeaderSaaS Operations / Revenue Operations / GM-track
Operating since 2007, through three kinds of leverage: capital, operations, and software. I've owned a $10M+ P&L, led a 60-person team, and now ship production SaaS hands-on with AI tools. Every claim on this page is dated and tied to a source you can check.

2012 – 2023
Co-founded and ran an integrated real-estate firm — design to construction, in-house — then developed, owned, and operated WorkPlay, an award-winning live-music venue in Honolulu.
2024 – today
Now building the operating software for the same rooms I used to run: PaperPlay, live in production — bookings, split payments, payouts, and tax records for local live music.
Most operations leaders can run the cadence or build the automation underneath it. I do both — and I've done each at real scale.

03The obvious question
I've had my at-bat as an owner — built the firm, bought the building, made payroll, won the awards, closed the chapter. What I want now is a bigger machine to help run: scale I can't reach solo, a team to build with, and problems where operating discipline is the difference.
Here's the reframe I'd offer any hiring manager wary of founders: founders don't lack bosses — we have the most of them. Lenders, landlords, inspectors, regulators, and sixty people expecting payroll every Friday. I have spent my whole career answering to reality. A reporting line is a simplification.
The obvious follow-up is PaperPlay's future. Fair question — ask it first on the call, and you'll get a specific, honest answer.
Twice nominated by the Governor of Hawai'i to the Hawai'i Community Development Authority — 2017 and 2022. The state checked the record too. public record ↗ (opens source in new tab)
04Operating system
Run for years across a 60-person hospitality org and a one-person software company — the cadence is the same; only the scoreboard changes.
Does it need to exist? The fastest improvement is sometimes to stop doing it.
Can a system do it reliably? Use software and AI to remove repetitive work.
Does it need a human — but not me? Put ownership where it's best equipped.
Does it require my judgment? Spend leadership time only where it compounds.
My operating style is shaped by years of practical use of Traction/EOS principles. EOS®, Traction®, and related marks belong to their respective owners; no certification or affiliation is implied.
